The arrival of the technical director of the Artistic Skating World Championships, the Italian Nicola Genchi, began the details final details of preparations for the Ibagué World Championship – Tolima 2023, that will begin next Tuesday, September 19 in the Coliseo Mayor of the ‘musical capital’ of Colombia.
The chairman made a tour of the stage to observe the details of the organization and adjust the location, special areas, dressing waiting rooms, and other spaces relevant to the event development. “As responsible for this modality sport, the expectations are the spectacle, the skaters, the organization, will be the best in every appointment. In the path we have done in recent years, as World Skate and as a technical committee, it has been long and hard work, and the results has been showed” said.
For the modality head at world level, the stage of the Coliseo Mayor guarantees a tourney of high sporting and competitive level. “We are always looking for skaters to be better than the previous year, and I am sure el coliseo, ist a place spectacular that offers us Ibagué, will reinforce the skaters spectacle, is will make and great mix well among all fans and can enjoy what the athletes are going to present us,” argued.
Finally, Genchi expressed his gratittude the organization and the government authorities of Ibagué and Tolima for the work done. “Standed out relevant work done for the Colombian Skating Federation, and we should thank the efforts that they are making to the event rise to a world championship, besides highlight the work behind it and the challenge to make it possible”, concluded.
