The official starting of the competitions, the emotions arrived  in the World Artistic Skating World Championships Ibagué – Tolima 2023, in the Coliseo Mayor of the musical city of Colombia, being the modality style of dance alone, that move the curtain to open way for the proves.

The junior ladies  category was dominated by Portugal, with Mariana Pinheiro, followed closely by the Italians Greta Pani and Linda Catalini, in a duel close that allowed the competitor Portuguese competitor to go ahead in the first outing and be the one who closes the competitions On Thursday, when the second outing takes place, the free dance, to know the medalists. Of this group of 22 competitors, 11 will perform this Wednesday freedance and the first 10 in style dance, will compete on Thursday.

Regarding mens, also in junior, the Colombian Jeshua Folleco dominated the first way out, in the style dance, with a 59.35,  advantage on  the Portuguese Diogo Costa, with 5730, and the Spanish Ot Font, with 52.30. The category, will have 12 competitors in the schedule on Wednesday and will leave the top 10 classified for Thursday, to know the winners of the medals.

The category senior, were seen high-level routines, with the presence of the athletes in the world with great experience and path. In ladies, for example, 29 skaters competed; 12 of the top 15 in the world ranking, they arrived Ibague and  showed of the great technical and sporting level.

Roberta Sasso, was surprise with a high score of 68.86 points, followed by the Spanish Natalia Baldizzone with 67.29, and the number one in the world ranking, the Paraguayan Érika Alarcón, who registered an 63.83, that leaves her third in the preliminary and with great options of his favoritism.  The first 10 in the style dance will compete on Thursday, and the pre-classified from 11 to 29 place, will do this Wednesday from 6:50pm.

The close of the first day, the senior men’s category was dominated by Llorenc Álvarez of Spain (67.24), with a close  second place by the Colombian Brayan Carreño, current world champion (66.18), and third place by Pedro Walgode (66.08), leaving everything open for the final round, the free dance, which will have this Wednesday the classified from 11 to 17, the TOP 10, will be on the stage next Thursday, to know the podium and the respective medallists.

SECOND DAY

The official schedule for Wednesday, September 20, will begin with official training from 8:00am, and competitions from 4:20pm with the free dance for junior ladies (except TOP10), at 5:50pm freedance junior ladies (except TOP 5), at 6:50pm free dance for senior ladies (except TOP 10), and finally after 9:20pm freedance for senior men (except TOP 10).
